The best nail place ever
much much nicer atmosphere than most nail salons; almost, on a whole other scale.
I don't usually post ranting posts, but today it's a must! So I go to Soho Nails to get a pedicure. I've been there on several other occasions in the past with no issues. However, today was very much different. The male owner has scrubbed my feet and done all the other things needed for this pedicure, so he proceeds to tell me to put my feet up so that he can lotion dry them off and lotion them. I then said very nicely that I would like to have my feet scraped. He says, "You let me rub them with this brush and come back and say you want them scraped." I sit there with my face somewhat frowned because I'm trying to keep calm. Another customer (older white lady)says to him, "Remember your sign at the door - Keep calm youre on camera." He walks off and get the scraper & comes back very attitudish and scrapes my feet. So after he finishes I begin to explain by saying" hey, I've been to other places and they scrub your feet with the brush and then they scrape them as well, so I after I seen you wasn't going to scrape them then that's why I requested it then." He then says, "I don't care what other places do." So at this point I'm a little heated, so I tell him that he is being very rude over something simple when I am the customer and I have to pay for this. He then says, "Well if you come back, then I don't have to do your nails I can just refuse. " Me....."Honey you don't have to refuse me cause I don't have to come back." He then advises me that he's done, I can leave or he will call police. So glad I didnt show out!! So I guess she we're living in an age where we (the customer) can't request to have something done a certain way when we are paying for it???? Really SMDH.......I've worked in customer service and although the customer may not literally always be right, you till be professional and respectful. This man was straight out rude and obnoxious as if he has the only nail salon in Eastman!! I'm glad I had a witness that was encouraging him to be calm. I encourage others to ban Soho Nail Salon and not give him business so maybe he will learn how to be more courteous and respectful. I posted this on FB and about 4 other people stated they have had the same experience with Steven being rude!
