Very friendly service by a young lady named Amber. She was very
attentative with my complicated order. When I got home, I really thought there would be something wrong with the order. I opened the sack when I got home and everything was exactly as I ordered it. I love it when that happens.
to a drive-in spot and parked the car, pressed the button to page an employee to take our order several times. It took about 5-7 minutes just to get a response, and there was maybe 1 or 2 other cars around besides ours at the time.... not busy. Finally a girl asked us what we wanted, no apology for the long wait, nothing, just a "what do you want to order" response.... We ordered 2 kids cheeseburger meals with Apple sauce and 2 fountain drinks, a jr bacon cheeseburger delux and small mozzarella stick with a small unsweet tea, and my husband ordered a cheeseburger meal with tots and a sweet tea. She didn't even bother repeating our order, just told us it would be ready shortly. We waited and waited. After nearly 10 minutes of waiting a girl comes out and hands us our drinks only and informs us that our food is "cooking". Again, there are barely any other customers.... We wait. My husband and i watch employees basically screwing around. One girl was not in uniform, walking in and out of the store, talking to other employees casually, while another male employee who was in uniform was outside playing with what appeared to be his children. Finally the girl comes to the passenger side window again and hands me one bag of food. I ask her about the kids meals and she simply says "everything's in the bag" tells me they ran out of kids bags, and walks away. We didn't even get an attached receipt! I check the bag, and they food is wrong. My son was missing his meal entirely, and my daughter also didn't have her apple sauce... there were no kids toys either. There was a random corn dog thrown in we didn't order as well. My husband had to get out of the car to tell the girl our order was wrong and that we were still missing both apple sauces and my son's cheeseburger. He came back and we started eating what we could. We figured we would have at least had HOT food as we were told the reason for our wait was that the food was "cooking". NOPE. My mozzarella sticks were cold, the cheese stiff. Our burgers were cold, the cheese slice was still firm and not melted on the patty. By the time the girl came back with my sons "cheeseburger" and left again without any apology or asking if everything else was alright, my son took a bite of his burger.... There was NO CHEESE! After all that waiting, still our order was WRONG. We were done. It was the worst dining experience we've ever had at a Sonic. The employees acted like they could care less about satisfying us or even taking an order to satisfactory standards.... We doubted they would have "helped" us any further. We left. Very, highly dissatisfied. Next time we will go to one of the only adjacent fast food locations in the area.
So I am not usually one to complain about much especially fast food bc I have worked in it and know how crazy it can get but I think this has been the worst service I have ever received. My mom, niece and I stopped at Sonic in Eastman, Ga bc my mom really loves Sonic. So we pull up to order like we normally do, they lady comes over speak and says something that we don't understand so we thought she said hold on for a second. We wait ...... So 15 min pass and no one has taken our order, so I press button again she comes over and say HOLD ON! Well I noticed drive thru is going much faster so I drive around. Get up to take my order finally after about a 25 min wait. The lady came over to take she was not very friendly. So get to window and she never smiled not friendly at all. Then they get our order wrong. You can't understand anything the woman says. I Just a pointer you need to be friendly when working with ppl in fast food.
The food look like the cook. Nasty

I would have rated this location a zero if I could. My family and I traveled into Eastman last Sunday to visit family during memorial day weekend, and after a long drive into town with kids in tow, all of us tired and starving, we recieved some of the worst food and customer service we've ever had the displeasure of experiencing.
